The Home Run Park Difference

Why Hitters Keep Coming Back

Sixty-five years of getting it right — here's what makes a session at Home Run Park feel different.

No Membership, No Gimmicks

Just walk in, grab tokens, and hit. No memberships, no subscriptions, no add-ons, and no confusing "pay-this-to-unlock-that" pricing — we don't nickel-and-dime you. You only pay for the pitches you take.

Plenty of Room for Everyone

Spread across nearly 1.5 acres with 20 different machines, our wide-open outdoor cages always have space to swing — come solo or bring the whole team.

Watch Your Ball Fly

Our nets stand a towering 30 feet tall, so you can actually watch your best shots take off and track the flight.

No Picking Up Balls

Our machines feed automatically, so you spend your visit swinging.

Free Gear to Borrow

Forgot your bat or helmet? We keep loaner bats and helmets with face masks on hand for you to use — always at no charge.

Snack Bar On-Site

Refuel between rounds with cold drinks, chips, and tons of different candy at our snack bar.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a reservation?
Never for walk-ins. Come in any time we're open and start hitting — no booking needed for individuals or small groups. Reservations are only for teams or large groups renting a private cage.
Do I need a membership or subscription?
No — and you never will. There are no memberships, no subscriptions, and no add-ons. You simply buy tokens (8 pitches for $1.50) and hit. Tokens never expire and can be taken home, so nothing goes to waste. We don't nickel-and-dime our customers.
Do you provide bats and helmets?
Yes — we keep loaner bats and helmets with face masks on hand for you to use, free of charge. Helmets are required in the cages.
How much does it cost?
One token is $1.50 for 8 pitches, and bigger token packs save more (30 for $30, 60 for $50, 100 for $80). See the Rates section for the full breakdown.
What ages can use the cages?
All ages are welcome. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
What happens if it rains?
Our cages are outdoors, so we close when the ground is wet. If the forecast looks like the rain is ending soon, we stay open — when in doubt, give us a call at 714-229-8850 to confirm we're open before you head over. And since tokens can be saved and taken home, you never lose them to the weather.
How can I pay?
We accept cash and all major credit and debit cards.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes — physical gift cards are available in person at the counter. They make a great gift for any baseball or softball player.
Can I rent a cage for my team or group?
Yes — team and large-group cage reservations are $60 per hour (we recommend booking 5–7 days ahead in spring). You're welcome to bring your own food and make it a get-together — we just ask that you clean up after yourselves when you're done. There's also a snack bar on site. Renting the entire facility for a private event can be arranged by special request — just give us a call.
Do you offer lessons?
Yes — pitching instruction with Jason Paul. Call 714-322-6255 to set up a lesson.
Celebrating 65 Years

A California Baseball Legend

Opened in 1961 and now celebrating our 65th anniversary, Home Run Park is a legend in California baseball and softball. In the sixties our employees picked up batted balls by hand, and we sold wood bats and batting gloves out of a shed. Today we're one of the largest operating batting cage facilities in the world — and without a doubt the longest running. Little League and Pony teams from across Orange County have hit here for generations. Come relieve some stress, bring friends for a great time, or take serious batting practice where Major League players routinely take off-season swings.
